It emits an emergency signal with 121,5 and 406 MHz simultaneously and has a GPS interface. The device has received new batteries in 04/2023 and pass the self-test with two green lights. Previous registration was in the US, so a free registration for the device is possible for everyone at the NOAA (via https://beaconregistration.noaa.gov). Fulfill EASA's NCO.IDE.A.170 when no ELT is on board the plane or just simply enjoy additional safety for flights over the sea. In case of a ditching, it can emit an emergency signal (when previously attached to you life-west, for example), even when your plane's ELT has already sunk to the sea floor.
