Engines Complete - Lycoming O-360-A1F6 |
|
This engine was owned by the China Southern Flying College and used in their Grob 115 training aircraft. The flying College went into Administration in early 2021.
This particular engine was removed from an aircraft due to more than 12 months inactivity which mandated a bulk strip within the China Southern maintenance system.
The LAME that removed the engine informed me that the cylinders were removed to preserve the camshaft HOWEVER they were then used on another aircraft. I do not know the state of the current cylinders but you must assume they will need overhauling. The removal of the cylinders is NOT reflected in the log books.
There engine has a complete (except for the above) set of log books.
