Remarks
|
This replica of Spitfire only exists in two versions in the world.
The construction of this aircraft is a colossal job that required 5 years of work.
The plans were purchased from Marcel Jurca in 1988. The DGAC asked to establish a structural resistance file that was prepared by ESTACA and static tests were carried out in the presence of the authorities.
The plane was finished with the help of the Reims Aviation engineering technicians where the plane was built.
The original Hispano engine was replaced by a V 12 Alison V 1710 F-73 equipped with a Hamilton 23 E 50 propeller.
Since then, the plane has done 120 hrs with this excellent engine. The owner is selling it for health reason.
