1947 Cessna 140
Complete overhaul from 2016-2019, no expense was spared.
Flight time since overhaul is just under 60hrs.
Annex II certification.
New glass, all wiring and fuses, control cables and pullies.
New brake system (discs, pads and casing+lining) C150 reservoir and pumps, dual brakes.
New tires and wheel pant fittings
Custom leather interior with Hooker Harness belts.
New fabric+paint on wings and new skins on all flight controls.
Fuselage was stripped and polished+painted with red stripe.
2 aluminum sheets were replaced, otherwise completely original fuselage.
Engine is a Continental O-200-A with good compression and 1180 hrs SMOH.
New exhaust and Sky-Tec lightweight starter and lightweight alternator installed in 2019 along with carburetor overhaul.
McCauley prop with 249 hrs SOH.
TTAF is 9749.
MICRORADIO VHF and transponder.
Annual inspection completed October 2021.
Aircraft is located in Reykjavik Iceland and has been since 1961.
All log books since new, even the first test flight at the factory is documented.
Only reason for selling is that it is not flown as much as it should, time to let someone else enjoy it.
