HISTORY & BACKGROUND
The Pilatus PC-9 is a two-seat trainer aircraft designed by Pilatus Switzerland.
PC-9/A is a variant of the PC-9 for the Royal Australian Air Force built under license by Hawker de Havilland in Sydney. It was introduced to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in 1987, with pilot training commencing in 1989.
This SN 540 served with the Royal Australian Air Force as A23-040 and has been withdrawn in 2019 with 9’587 hrs TT.
