Having flown this aircraft recently to Cirrus Holland for the CAPS repack, impressions are very favourable. The aircraft is in first rate condition for its age, it's clearly been hangared throughout its life, the paint work looks fresh and unmarked. The interior is spot on showing no signs of age or wear.
Its fast, slightly faster than a modern turbo and more fuel efficient. At FL150 it showing IAS of 155KTS with a TAS of 197KTS, on 13.8 USG per hour. The engine sounds spot on, didn't burn any oil in 4 hours of flying and performs really well.
The only fault I could find was a slight bit of corrosion on the rudder about the size of your thumb which is common on these G3s and can easily be rectified at pre-purchase inspection.
