Skybolt is really a very nice aircraft, a two-place airplane whose role in life is to offer an upside down view of the world that can be shared with a friend.
The ¨Skybolt¨was designed in 1970 by Lammar Steen as a fully aerobatic two place biplane.
Recommended power plants range from 125 hp for sport flying to the 260 hpLycoming for serious aerobatic competition.
Conservative calculations by a professional engineer indicate a plus +9 and -8 G load factor al a groos weight of 750 kg (1650 lbs).
Skybolt N1HW has been flown to plus +7 and minus -4 Gs al speeds in excess of 200 mph.
